These patio curtains are a great addition to my outdoor space. They’re waterproof, well made, and have held up really well in the sun and rain. They also add privacy while making the patio feel much more cozy. I’m very happy with the quality and would definitely recommend them.
Robust Construction all around. Also they had the size I wanted stock. Very good customer service. Hardware kit was just right but in my case I added some stainless steel chain to extend the hardware to my existing posts. I did some research on this because there's a lot of sun sail companies out there but Kay Gorge seemed the best choice maybe just a little bit pricier but the quality shows
I am very happy with the sailcloth. I am impressed with the quality of the fabric and construction. I have installed it rather unconventionally, I think, as a rainwater drainage system under a deck. I was looking for some way to shed the water so we are able to occupy the space under the deck while it is raining. This is proving to be a pretty good solution. Two things: First, when I first installed it, I did not create a steep enough slope so the rainwater collected in the middle of the cloth instead of running off the downward edge. I reinstalled with a more significant slope and it now works great! Secondly, when I reinstalled it with more slope, I turned the cloth so the unfinished side that shows all of the stitching is visible. That is, the finished smooth side is facing up under the deck. I did this because the stitching on the cloth is pretty substantial and I was concerned that it might interfere with the rainwater running off as I wanted. So I installed the smooth side up to reduce any obstructions to the flow of the water. I will be taking it down at some point to clean it, and I may reinstall it with the unfinished, or stitching side, up to see if the water still runs off without any interference. With the dramatic slope I now have, I think it should work fine. (But, actually, I don't think most people will notice the stitching. I showed my wife and she said that she would not have even noticed or thought about it had I not pointed it out to her.)
In addition to recommending heavier duty water resistant sail cloth, I also highly recommend purchasing the appropriate stainless steel hardware kit as well. In my mind it is an absolute must.
Nicely made and waterproof. I recently purchased a high end, engineered shade structure. It was not waterproof. I put the KGorge tarp over it and it is perfect.
Always excellent customer service! It always seems I need custom curtains and they have always come through! I love the curtains! They're beautiful, well-made and long lasting!
Make sure to follow the directions and install it at the correct angle! It works great, keeps my furniture dry and I can sit outside during the rain, it shades nicely on sunny days - a much more cost efficient option that an awning.
Ordered these for my screened in porch. They are very soft to the touch, good strong sturdy material, nice thickness, I think I am going to be really happy.
Quality product. They communicated well during purchase and delivery. Working on how to effectively drain as not able to get the slope they are recommending. Will be trying to insert grommets in low spots.
Just bought these tarps for our covered patio for winter to add some protection from snow/wind - love them along with the nice buggee cords! Highly recommend.
Excellent quality. Perfect outdoor curtain. Looks high end. Not pictured but I put a pvc pipe through the bottom pocket to provide stability when closed. A rope was provided for this application but I like the steadiness the pvc pipe provides.
We bought this to put on our decks windy side for the winter - I think it’s going to work great. It’s nice and clear to see through during the day. Thank you for making a quality product.
I bought 2 sets of these curtains for our outdoor patio. They feel very high quality for the price. The color was accurate - I got the "biscotti beige", solid pattern, and I love it. They were easy to install, with the options of tabs or full pocket. They've been out there during a few monsoons now and held up, so I would say their water resistance is good. The weight is pretty nice, and makes them feel more expensive. Provides great privacy to our guests in the Airbnb if they decide to draw the curtains back there.
