Nice lightweight and easy to install. Even when pulled tight it does still pouch in spots when it rains. Set up on a steep angle to avoid pooling

We bought this for our patio 10 X 13, it was a great product, great price. We also added the kit to hang it and that was great. It covered our out door living/ patio area and shades it nicely. I would highly recommend.

Excellent canopy. I could have ordered a smaller size but I made this one work. Having to identify and locate the anchor points and still maintain the geometry of the rectangle sail was a trial by error endeavor. But at the end of the day it looks beautiful and functional. This sail is not waterproof, water does drain through. It is probably designed this way otherwise all the rain would puddle in the middle of the sail and rip it.
With the hooks, it is easy to store my sail when I expect rain. I do this to prevent algae growth on it.
Tip: If your sail is square or rectangle - it would help to layout it's diagonal lines to the anchor points so that the sail is stretched equally to maintain that geometry and keep taut.

Best product we ever bought. We replaced a manual awning that did not cover the whole patio and was sagging and outdated with this sunshade. We have high winds in our area and our sunshade is 6 months up and still standing. We love it. Perfect size for our patio. Ended up using some string and a mounting kit to install. With wind needed it very secure. Great product. Would buy again for over our pool next year.

Corners were double stitched over eyelets. Very light weight, we went with 4 carabiners for a quick release and storage. We dont want it to sit out in the heat and rain 24x7, would definitely shorten the life span of the shade. Was a perfect temporary fix for the area we needed! Our little project came together in minutes and it was very inexpensive to have the shade we so needed to work under.

I used a 13x13x19 first and wasn??t quite enough so I got 2 additional 12x12x12 and used the wire rope kits to install. Love the way they look and really happy with the extra shade on the patio for our sitting area. I had to get creative with how I made them all taunt but it worked out great. So far I have had to tighten them twice but that??s because the fabric is stretching. I would not suggest using the rope included with the shade sail unless it is super temporary. You will want to get these pretty tight. I have a great shade addition for under $100 with the wire rope and all the hardware. Definitely recommend.

Had this up on the back patio for a couple months now. This will stretch after install. Initially I stretched it between trees and measured the sides. From flat to stretched tight the 13x16 got 6?? longer both directions. I used those measurements to figure out the anchor points. Retightened it 2 times over 3 days and it is still right after 2 months. The rope that came with this is terrible. Installed ours with paracord with no issues

Had this for over a year, wanted to give it some time to go through all the seasons. It's excellent quality, doesn't feel cheap at all. It's been through snow storm, summer heat, and tons of windy thunderstorms. Fit our swimming pool perfectly!

We are in a rental in southwest Florida and have no covered lanai. This makes enjoying our outdoor space unbearable for a large portion of the year.
We purchased 20thread eye hooks and galvanized Caribenars to secure to the house and used tie down straps with locking teeth to secure to two palm trees
Easy to setup, and fairly durable. They are slightly pourous so they won??t allow for water pooling and also allow for wind to go through instead of parachuting.

The selection of this product instead of a large umbrella for the table on our patio of vacation rental house has turned out to be a great one. We have no regrets. It shields the entire patio from the strong sun, wind, and rain we have here in the Caribbean.

Since I'll be working from home for the summer, I wanted to create an outside area to be able to sit with my computer -- shade necessary. I am very happy with this purchase and it is a great bargain for the price. It was easy to install (15 minutes for someone with experience with tools), durable so far, and I get so many compliments on it. Very happy with the product! One note: The color is terra but looks red in the photos online. It really is more terra cotta so take the name at face value rather than the pics.

We incorporated this shade sail in a pergola and it looks especially sweet because the sides have a bit of a curve to them and the corners are not at right angles. I like it a lot. We bought the terracotta and at first I was disappointment because in the package it looked very orange. Once we got it set up, it seemed to take on a bit more of a reddish colour and it looks great. Is definitely not rainproof when set up horizontal like this (we didn't buy it for rain protection, only for sun protection) but it offers a bit of a buffer to the rain. We will take it down for the winter. Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but seems like good value for the money.

Ordered the 13x16 size and the hardware kit. Placed 4x4x16 pressure treated lumber 4 ft deep. Mounted 2 corners at 11 ft and the other two opposing corners at 9 ft. Tied the provided ropes at full length, and opened up the turnbuckles to their longest position. It took a bit of effort to stretch the shade out out and latch the carabiners. The tension was perfect and no adjustments were necessary. If it needs any adjustment in the future I can quickly make adjustment with the turnbuckles. If you put in some effort it’s a very good product. Will add another one over the pool soon.

Update: this shade has now been up on the beach in Florida for over a year through sun, wind, and rain. Still up there and doing it's job.
Before installing I riveted the corners to reinforce the stitching. I used stainless rivets with bonded neoprene washers. I suggest reinforcing the corners by either doing this or sewing nylon strapping, heavy duty thread, and double stitching with reinforced end lock stitches.
These are a great deal.
The seller is good as well. They followed through promptly when I recently corresponded with them.

Amazing looks, fits pergola perfectly. The color goes well with our redwood stained fence and pergola and offers the perfect shade for our patio. I should probably buy a replacement so I have it for when the first one inevitably dies. I believe it is poly, so it should hold up to the UV for a good while, but the Sun kills all fabrics eventually. I tarp camp so used my knot skills to get the sail nice and tight in the corners without any additional (ugly) turnbuckle hardware. Google “Skurka Guylines” and learn the knots he suggests for guying out a shelter - they work perfectly for this application as well.

I bought this 16/13ft to use over my wood deck . And it work perfectly so far it??s solid and very unique and shady . Remember when you do measurements go 2 or 3ft more from each side this way you will have extra room to stretch it and tightening it other way it will b loose and it will look very bad , I saw some reviews saying it loose that??s because they measured the exact size which is wrong . Highly recommended very nice I??ll install one for my mother in law this week she seen it and liked it . Big like

Good product - Make sure you have good anchor points. Buying another sail, in case this fails in the future (because it will). The hard part is installing the post, and make them look nice, without having the scene look Ghetto. 4x4 posts with white sleeve and caps. Each one secured with 100 lbs concrete. Entire project will run you $150, but it looks good! Adding lights soon.

Very happy with this product so far. We needed a shade sail for our deck, which is in direct sun most of the day. I actually ended up using two triangle sails, because we did not want to block the entire view of the sky with a square or rectangular one. One is red and the other sand color (see picture - they look really great!).
- The trick is to install them with sufficient stretch tension, so that they do not slouch.
- They block off enough sun to sit comfortably on the deck, even when the sun is at its highest, hottest, and most direct.
- They block enough UV rays to avoid a sunburn even without putting on sunblock, if you are out for a few hours. However, you will get one if you spend all day out there, so if you plan to be out under it all day, I still recommend some sunscreen lotion.
- Provides enough shelter from the heat to be comfortable throughout the day.
- Remember that it does not block 100% of the sun (see picture).
Overall - works exactly as expected and looks great!

Best 49$ I??ve ever spent, we can now enjoy our deck without literally baking in the sun!
Been installed for 2 weeks now, has held up to several high wind events and the harsh mountain lighting.

I bought 4 for my large roofless deck that is Southwest facing, so it has a lot of sun. Works great! Holds up to good gusts of wind coming across large acres of open field and pastures.

I returned one I previously bought.
What I like about this one
1. colour matches the pressured treated wood
2. is not fully water proof, therefore water leaks though it rather than accumulating on top
3. although at first I thought it not opaque enough it does indeed block enough light.
4. more true to advertised size

Installed this on Friday 05/31/21 and seems to be a good tight fit. I definitely recommend purchasing the Artpuch Sun Shade Sail Hardware Kit ( I used the 6" length ). Was a seam on one end thats not pictured upon purchase, but i installed this to the sloped side. Does a great job shading the pool for the kids.

So far this thing has held up to the sun, wind and rain of a Florida summer. Very impressed with its durability and aesthetically pleasing. I purchased the mounting kit as well and with a few new pieces from Kgorge (additional turnbuckles, carabiners and galvanized wire) it looks like a high-end install.

This has certainly lowered the afternoon temperatures on my back patio. I recommend this to anyone who needs some shade. The rain will pass through it (eventually) without puddling too much, but will come down at the low point, which in my case made a little ditch in the yard. Something to consider. When mounting it, use hardware and polyester rope which will stand the strain. You need to pull it pretty tight, and the wind will move it around a lot. Go oversize with your mounting, and you won't have to do it twice. After fooling around with a mounting kit recommended by Amazon, I threw it away and used 1/4" polyester rope, pulleys, and cleats. Mount the pulleys up high, and the cleats under them where you can easily adjust everything from the ground. Leave enough extra rope so that you can lower the sun shade all the way to the ground without having to climb a ladder and thread the rope back through the pulleys the next time you put it up. Use carabiner style clips on the end of the ropes to connect to the shade. From a guy who got tired of climbing ladders.

Using it as a sunshade to cool the side of the house. Pretty much easy peasy to cool the side of our house that gets a lot of sun during the summer. Cools the wall about 20° lower than without and that helps on cooling bills this summer. Tied it back at the corners using the rope included. Durability will have to see - as midwest thunderstorms and wind take their toll on everything..but hey, its not made of steel..

We originally ordered a 12x16 blue one. It was way too big or than what we needed and it rubbed against the side of the house and eventually popped a hole in it. We decided to order the sand colored 9x13 and it fit our space much better. We cemented 12 foot four by fours in the ground and we ended up buying large turnbuckles and chains in order to create enough tension. This worked better than some wire in a kit I ordered off of Amazon. The tarp only comes with string so you definitely will have to buy extra stuff to put it on the wall. So far I am loving the sand colored one. The blue one literally felt like a painters tarp and it look cheap to me but the sand color looks a lot more expensive. It really blocks the sun, we live in Florida and even in the spring at 12 in the afternoon I was able to sit outside. So far I love this and it has really helped us have a beautiful sitting area outside.

The durability of this looks like it will be great! It provides the shade I wanted and matches my table umbrella on out porch deck very well. Make sure to slope your corner and that when you measure-remember it’s 13x13 from corner to corner. I could have actually went one size down!

We are (financially) on the cusp of seasonal covers and a permanent structure in this corner of our 1909 home.
Seasonal covers have been nothing more tarps and bungees.
This Sunshade is an AWESOME mid-step.
I lashed on to 3 points with industrial rubber straps and 1 point with a mini ratchet strap for adjusting tension.
(The wife is happy, all is right in the world... at least our little corner of it)
PS... Purchased / shipped/ received freakishly fast. A+
